How do I manage the permissions of my laboratory's members?

Decide what each member of your team can do on Opeaz (create operations, invite pharmacies, validate supporting documents or compensations…), member by member or for several members at once.

Change a member's permission

  1. Click the "Settings" gear in the top bar: the "Settings" page opens.

  2. In "Account configurations", click "Team members": the "Permissions" block shows the table of members and their permissions.

  3. On the member's row, turn the switch on or off in the column of the permission you want.

Result: the change is saved immediately, with no "Save" button or confirmation. An administrator's switches are greyed out: an administrator has all permissions.

Alternative path: click the "Account settings" icon (the three dots next to your initials, at the bottom of the left menu), then "Settings"; the rest is identical. Why this path: the "Settings" gear opens the page in one click, and the switch on the row is the most direct for a single member and a single permission.

Examples of a member's permissions

  • "Create an operation".

  • "Invite pharmacies".

  • "Approve or reject a supporting document".

  • "Approve or reject a compensation".

  • "Edit pharmacy lists".

Change the permissions of several members at once

  1. Click the "Settings" gear in the top bar, then "Team members" on the "Settings" page.

  2. Tick the box of each member concerned (an administrator's box cannot be ticked): the "Grant rights" and "Withdraw rights" buttons appear.

  3. Click "Grant rights" or "Withdraw rights". The window lists all permissions, already all turned on ("Grant rights") or all turned off ("Withdraw rights"): you do not choose permission by permission. Click "Apply".

Result: all permissions are granted, or all withdrawn, for the ticked members. To adjust only one permission, go back afterwards to the switches on their row.

Other actions on a team member

On the "Settings" page ("Settings" gear in the top bar), click "Team members": each row of the members table has these icons, with their tooltip:

  • "Change to admin" (crown icon): gives the member account management.

  • "Delete member" (trash icon).

  • "Reset password" (padlock icon).

  • Add a member: "Invite members" (see "How do I create an account for a member of my laboratory?").

If it doesn't work

  • You don't see "Team members" on the "Settings" page → you are not an administrator of the account: ask an administrator.

  • A switch is greyed out → the member is an administrator and already has all permissions; otherwise contact support via the Opeaz bubble.
